The Goombi Renewable Energy Hub is located along the Warrego Highway between the towns of Chinchilla and Miles, within the locality of Goombi. After a comprehensive site selection and assessment process, this location stood out due to several key factors that make it an ideal location for a wind farm.

A met mast is now collecting detailed wind speed data on site.

Community information sessions have been hosted in Chinchilla and Miles.
