Connecting with the Community at the Chinchilla Show

The Goombi Renewable Energy Hub team attended the Chinchilla Show on 22 and 23 May 2026, with representatives from TagEnergy and LPRP hosting an information stall throughout the two-day event.

With more than 4,000 people reported to have attended the show over the weekend, the event provided a valuable opportunity for the project team to connect with local residents, landholders and stakeholders associated with the project.

Community members were able to speak directly with representatives, ask questions and learn more about the proposed project and upcoming activities.

Goombi Renewable Energy Hub was also proud to support the Chinchilla Show as a sponsor, specifically supporting the Poultry, Floriculture and Pot Plant sections.

The project team appreciates the opportunity to participate in such a well-supported community event and looks forward to continuing engagement with the region as the project progresses.
